From their Bandcamp description, “North Carolina’s saddest boys, Water Culture, are here to bring you on a journey of love and loss. Painting visceral stories with their emo and post-rock soundscapes, this Winston-Salem based group illustrates the darkest parts of dealing with grief and despair.”

Preparing for a new album release, Water Culture wanted to update their logo design. Taking inspiration from the show that provided the name of the band, The Legend of Korra, I focused on the “water bending” action.
